Lore — because every gift worth giving carries a story. Lace — because the best things are made with intricate, patient care. But the name goes deeper than wordplay: Lorelace is named for two women, generations apart.

Our founder's daughter — and the reminder, every single day, of who we're really making things for. Not "customers." People. The niece who just got into nursing school. The mom who drove every carpool. The friend who finally took that trip. Lorelai keeps us honest about what a gift is supposed to feel like.
Ada Lovelace
The world's first programmer, who saw before anyone else that machines could help make beautiful things — when people guide them with imagination. That's how we work too: we use clever tools behind the scenes, and a real person says yes to every design before it earns a place in the shop.
A female-led vision for a good gift
Lorelace is female-led — and it shows in what we don't sell. No endless aisles, no thousand near-identical designs. Every piece in the shop passed one test: would we actually give this to someone we love?
If the answer wavered, it didn't make it in. That's why the shop stays small on purpose — a curated set of designs, each one built from the start to be personalized.

That's why nothing here is finished until you finish it. Every design is built around the words you'll add — a name, a place, a year, an inside joke — and the preview comes to life as you type. Then we print that one-of-one, just for them.
Nothing sits in a warehouse waiting to be wanted. Each piece is printed when you order it, because it couldn't exist before you told us who it was for.
